30 April 2007 - The radio business is no longer the very profitable enterprise it was during the 1980's and 1990's.  Radio station revenue is down as advertisers have many more options where to spend their money to reach an ever more fragmented audience. 

Consequently, I could be back on the air in this market, but I would either have to do the shows for free or else, buy the time and personally obtain sponsors to defray those costs.  Neither option appeals to me.

That said, I'm still looking for another radio station and shall inform you if a better option materializes.
