Soft
leaves, no thorns - so unlike its kin, the Century Plants. This is
one of my favorite plants for a large outdoor container, since it NEVER
needs to be watered (though you could water it once each month during the
growing season). Individual rosettes can grow to over 2' in diameter
and they do eventually branch from below to form clumps. Grows best
with some protection from intense afternoon sun, in a location with good
drainage. Requires no supplemental irrigation once established.
Again, these are perfect plants for containers!
