While
similar to the common Lechuguilla, it is much more attractive. The
narrow leaves have a pronounced blue cast and the rosettes grow larger
and more upright. Grows to 3' high, and clumps will spread to 8'
across in 10 years. Grows best in full sun, in a location with good
drainage. Requires no supplemental irrigation once established.
(Feed with 3 to 5 Agriform
21-gram,
2-year fertilizer tablets at the bottom of the hole at planting time.) |
