This,
or its hybrids, is the most common of the winter-hardy maculate aloes cultivated
in San Antonio and Austin. Keep dry in winter and place in a well-drained
location in full to half-day sun. Will recover from underground stems
after severe freezes if it does not rot. Requires no supplemental
irrigation once established.
