An attractive mass planting,
like the one shown in the photograph, can be achieved by spacing the plants
18 inches on center, in a triangular pattern. This west Texas native
is not recommended for those with an over-active sprinkler system. Grows
in dappled shade to half-day sun, in locations with good drainage.
Looks best if given a deep watering every two weeks during a dry summer.

21-gram,
2-year fertilizer tablets at the bottom of the hole at planting time.) |
