This
native wildflower has been domesticated! But you do not need a piece
of prairie to enjoy it. Plant it with Cherry Sage (Salvia greggii
and hybrids), Pink Skullcap (Scutellaria), Native Cone Flower (Echinacea
pallida), Texas Bluebonnet and Lantana 'Irene'. Grows in full
sun to half-day sun. Looks best if given a deep watering every two
weeks during a dry summer.
