This
is a choice form of our native hot pepper. Because of its reduced
chlorophyll content, it grows more slowly and not as tall as the wild type.
Harvest peppers with gloved hands! Grows 2' to 3' high and wide,
in sunny to half-day sun sites. Looks best if given a deep watering
every two weeks during a dry summer.
(Feed with 2 Agriform21-gram,
2-year fertilizer tablet at the bottom of the hole at planting time.) |
