A low, mounding, perennial
mum grown for its foliage, not its small buttons of golden-yellow fall
flowers. In spite of its high latitude Asian habitat, it tolerates
our heat quite well. Grows in full sun to half-day
sun in well-drained sites. Cut it back to 1 inch high in late February.
Looks best if given a deep watering every two weeks during a dry summer.
