The perfect location
for this form of Mexican Petunia is a slope with poor, rocky soil, under
a sparse canopy of trees and tall shrubs, where deer are a problem.
'ChiChi' blooms from April until the first killing freeze, and grows to
less than 3' high. Cut back frozen stems (with a string trimmer)
before new growth emerges in March. Spreads by seeds
flung by the ripe capsules, plant it where this will not be a problem.
Grows in full sun to half-day sun. Looks best if given a deep watering
every two weeks during a dry summer.
