The Tarahumara Indians
of Copper Canyon drink an infusion of this plant, as a tonic for stomach
problems. We use it as an outstanding ornamental for sunny sites.
Grows in full sun to half-day sun. Looks best
if given a deep watering every two weeks during a dry summer.
