This
plant is apparently a hybrid of a purple-leaf form of Tradescantia pallida
and Tradescantia sillamontana, both native to Nuevo León,
Mexico. Its stems and leaves show intermediate characteristics and
it has great hybrid vigor. Grows in half-day sun to almost full sun.
Looks best if given a deep watering every two weeks during a dry summer.
