Mutable
means changing, and that is what the flowers do. They open a pale
peach-white and darken to a deep cerise-pink. Can grow 8' to 10'
high, and does well against a fence or climbing though taller evergreen
shrubs. I have never had to spray mine for the typical rose diseases.
Grows in full sun. Looks best if given a deep watering every two
weeks during a dry summer.
