People either love it
or hate it. Looks great with bananas, gingers and hardy heliconias.
Established clumps bear orange flowers whenever it's warm (May through
September). Performs best if each stalk is cut to the ground and
discarded as soon as its last flowers fade. Grows
in full sun. Looks best if given a deep watering every two weeks
during a dry summer.
