The flowers are also larger-than-average. Please do not order this
tree if you do not have at least 16 inches of topsoil and are willing to
give it supplemental summer irrigation. These small plants will grow
very fast if given a grass-free and deeply mulched zone 6' to 8' in diameter.
Place it at least 25' away from a structure or overhead powerlines.
Grows best in full sun to half-day sun and needs a deep soaking every 2
weeks during a dry summer once established.
